Terms and conditions CAN

The purchase of any vacation package or other services constitues a contractual agreement and constitutes you acknowledgement that you have read the Terms and Conditions and that you agree to follow and be bound by them.  Therefore, please make sure that you have carefully read and understood these Therms and Conditions before making your purchase.  Rapid Lake Lodge Inc. (operating as and hereafter referred to as " Rapid Lake Lodge"/ Pourvoirie du Lac Rapide) reserves the right to modify or change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you,therefore, we urge you to read them carefully each time you purchase any vacation package or other services.

Reserving Your Trip

How to Sign-Up To sign up for a Rapid Lake Lodge trip, simply call or fax us the reservation form.

Trip Deposits A deposit of 50% of the trip cost is required in order to confirm a booking. The deposit is due within 15 days of reserving space on any trip. A late deposit cancell your reservation. Deposit may be made by check or credit card (Visa or Master Card), but we prefer a check deposit. Your authorisation to use your credit card number for deposit and/ or final payment indicates your compliance with our booking Terms and Conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft.  Verbal authorisation of your credit card confirms your reservation.

Paying your Balance For the people travelling on the commercial flights, the balance of your trip cost is due 90 days prior to departure. For the people travelling with their own aircraft, the balance of your trip cost is due 30 days prior to departure. A late payment may impact the ticketing deadlines. Your balance due may be paid by check, money order or credit card in CAN dollars. If final payment is not received when due, Rapid Lake Lodge reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Prices in this listing are per person, quoted in CAN dollars and in effect for reservations received through November 30. In 16 years, Rapid Lake Lodge has never increased the brochure price in a given year as a result of foreign currency or fuel  fluctuations. We do, however, reserve the right to do so in the event of extreme fluctuations.

Cancellation & Refund Policies If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be: (91 days prior trip start $200.), (61-90 days prior trip start 25% of trip price), (31-60 days prior trip start 50% of trip price), (0-30 days prior trip start no refund).

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. Air transport cost and flight schedules are subject to change without notice. Since we cannot exercise direct control over these organisations Rapid Lake Lodge Inc. accept no responsibility for extra cost and loss of time that may occur.

On the rare occasions when Rapid Lake Lodge must cancel a trip, all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement. If Rapid Lake Lodge should cancel a trip within 45 days of departure due to low enrolment, you will receive a full refund.

Rapid Lake Lodge is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trips, such as airline tickets. Guests who fail to provide signed "Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risk" and personal information forms prior to trip departure will not be allowed to join the trip and the cancellation policy applies.

Rapid Lake Lodge Inc. will not be responsible or liable for damages or injury to participants or personal property. In view of the above, all person who reserve with Rapid Lake Lodge Inc. completely accept, by implication, all conditions as described in this document.

If your Rapid Lake Lodge trip does not deliver the experience we promised, we pledge to address your concerns and work with you to remedy the situation. When you reserve a Rapid Lake Lodge vacation, we enter into a partnership. Our job is to help you select and prepare for your trip and to create a carefree adventure that equals or exceed what out literature and staff promise. Your responsibility is to select a trip that suit your abilities and interests, acquaint yourself with our policies, be prepared with the recommended gear, and then have the time of your life. If we don't live up to our part of the bargain, we'll do what it takes to reach an acceptable solution. We value our relationship with you, our guest, and want it to be mutually rewarding and long-term.
