During the prime time season this small river regularly gives up 4000 to 6000 brook trout on three rods in 45 days! Spring fishing is hard to beat!
Published: 2012-03-20
Nothing beats spring fishing when the fish are just near the water surface and readily takes just about any flies or lures. Think fish! Imagine for a moment if you had to spend six to eight months under the ice cover, in total darkness and have to live on your fat reserve. The only thing that you’ll be thinking about is food. This is exactly why spring fishing is an exceptional time. The fishes are hungry and very active.
We have great prime time dates available for spring fishing and the possibility to catch five species of fish: arctic char (anadromous and landlocked), lake trout, brook trout and landlocked salmon.
