Red char fishing in Arctic Quebec – Canada

Brook Trout fishing in Northern Quebec

During the prime time season this small river regularly gives up 4000 to 6000 brook trout on three rods in 45 days! Nothing beats spring fishing when the fish are just near the water surface and readily takes just about any flies or lures. Think fish! Travel Photo Report –Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis in Nunavik

Mr. Philip Carter, from New York, NY, USA shares with us two superb photos of Aurora Borealis that he took at the Barnoin River Lodge. Written by Philip Carter I had to wait until well past 11 PM in order for the sun to go down and capture this shot. It was 30 second at F1.4. Right after this, one of the fuel drums flexed in the cold (it was mid 30’s at the time) and I was scared out of my wits as I thought it was a polar bear and I was out there all alone.
